Jack Johnson to Come to the Arlington Theater

Once a Santa Barbara local himself, Jack Johnson announced that he will be playing at the Arlington Theater in October. Hi sixth album, From Here To Now To You, will be released on September 17. The tour is to begin in Europe and then return to the United States. Johnson and band will be performing in some of the most beautiful and intimate theaters, including the Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara. Johnson will donate 100% of his tours profits to charity.

The Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara is architecturally stunning. From the detailed exterior to the exquisite interior, the Arlington is a truly amazing Santa Barbara Landmark. The theater was built in 1931 on the site of the Arlington Hotel that was demolished after the 1925 earthquake. The Arlington is currently the largest movie theater and principal performing arts venue in Santa Barbara.

For his entire Fall tour, Johnson will be practicing “green touring.” All tour vehicles will be fueled by sustainable biodiesel, concertgoers will be asked to use mass transportation options, and single – use disposable water bottles will be eliminated.
